Residents Website
Thanks to Jonathan, we now have a website where all the documents and news relating to BARU can be viewed.
www.Baruhomes.com password: Baru2026
The website is working progress, and we welcome your views and input. Let us know any additions / changes and we will do our best to accommodate.
BARU Bylaws
It is evident that in the past, individuals have taken it upon themselves to invent rules and regulations that effect all home owners and residents. However these have not been voted on nor have they been logged with city records, therefore we are not able implement them. Recent construction works have highlighted the issues surrounding this. Therefore we are going to start the process of revising the Bylaws and we welcome your input. Over the next few months, we would like you to propose any rules you think are necessary, we will then communicate these to the homeowners for comment and voting. Then at the next assembly meeting we can formulise the bylaws that have the majority vote.
Please note, while all homeowners can have their say and opinion, the only votes that will be counted are from the homeowners who are not in debt with their HOA fees.
Property debt
The financial reports for May are attached. On the sheet “house payments” you will note that we have added a few more columns to show the total debt in HOA payments and Special assessment fees. The figures speak for themselves. However, it is worth highlighting that they dept owed by TANGO construction is $719485.52. This is why we are confused in why she is asking for other homeowners for more money? I will allow you to make that decision yourselves.
The total debt to BARU is MXN$1004306.52. Can you imagine how fantastic BARU could be if that money was paid!
Legal action has now been incited against all homeowners that are in debt. Wouldn’t it be amazing if funds could be spent on improving BARU instead of taking legal action against our neighbours!
We are deeply saddened that, despite our sole objective being to protect every homeowner, we continue to face hostility for doing what we believe is right.
Our commitment has always been clear: to ensure that every homeowner has a voice, that everyone's legal rights are respected, and that the value of our homes and investments is protected and strengthened. Every step we have taken has been guided by the law, with transparency and the long-term interests of the entire BARU community at heart.
Yet, those working tirelessly to achieve these goals have been met with accusations, intimidation, disruption and personal attacks. Individuals who have simply sought to ensure that BARU is managed legally and fairly have faced false criminal complaints, harassment in their own homes and verbal abuse.
We ask one simple question: Why?
If the objective is a legally managed condominium where every homeowner has an equal vote and every voice is heard, then why are those striving to achieve exactly that being targeted?
This is no longer about individuals. It is about the future of BARU. It is about whether we choose transparency over intimidation, the rule of law over personal interests, and a community where every homeowner has the same rights and opportunities to participate in decisions that affect their homes and investments.
We urge every homeowner to look beyond the rumours, ask questions, examine the facts and consider what is truly at stake.
This is your home. This is your investment. This is your voice. Don't allow it to be taken away.
For all of you that have listened to false promises, I hope you are enjoying the view of the swimming pool because that’s all you can do… look at it! But apparently, you can sleep easy at night knowing that the public toilets are clean!
Pay your HOA!
Warm Regards
Liesa Coates and the rest of the team!
